A wazifa (Pronounced: Waz-ee-fi) is a supplication or prayer. It is usually for the forgiveness of sins, the alleviation of a particular condition or the obtaining of some desired good. Wazifas are divided into two categories, those that are mandatory (sanched dua) and those that are optional (madani dua).
This Surah Ya-Sin with Sound is one of the most recited and most significant Surahs of the Qur’an. This Surah is ‘makki’ and has 83 verses. It is written in the commentary of Majma’ul Bayan and if one recites it for the pleasure of Allah, all his sins will be forgiven and he will be given the reward equal to the reward of reciting the whole Qur’an.
